Despite rapidly rising gas prices amid Russia’s war on Ukraine, much of the United States needs more public charging stations before we see a surge in demand for EVs.

The growing base of EV owners have struggled with the slow pace of charging from home-installed chargers. Beyond that, many are still learning how to balance daily driving with their vehicles’ range.

The service is currently available in the San Francisco Bay Area, San Jose, Los Angeles and Dallas.

“The freedom EV owners want simply was not available if they had to spend 20 or 30 minutes waiting at a fixed location public charging station,” said Josh Aviv, SparkCharge CEO and co-founder Josh Aviv said."
